What Sookmyung is like

  • Seoul Station, with trains to the airport and across the country, is one stop away.
  • Namsan, Itaewon and the Yongsan area are close, so food, markets and parks are within reach.
  • Mostly residential streets, so evenings are calmer than around Hongdae or Gangnam.

Getting around

  • Sookmyung Women's University Station (Line 4) is next to the campus. Seoul Station (Lines 1 and 4, the airport railway and long-distance trains) is the next stop.
  • Line 4 also runs to Myeongdong and Dongdaemun, and the other way toward Sadang and Gangnam's side of the river.

  • The streets around the campus slope uphill toward Namsan, so check the walk from a room to the station.
