What Korea University is like
- A student-heavy, practical neighborhood with a lot of everyday restaurants and shops.
- Generally calmer at night than Seoul's best-known nightlife districts.
- Nearby Jegi-dong, Hoegi and Wolgok sit around the edges of the area and serve other universities too.
Getting around
- Line 6 serves the campus area — look for the stations named Anam (Korea Univ. Hospital) and Korea Univ. (Jongam).
- Line 1 stops at Jegi-dong and Hoegi nearby, giving a second line toward central Seoul.
- Many trips from here toward central Seoul involve at least one transfer, so check the route to the places you'll visit most before committing to a long commute.
